How reward codes work
What a reward code is: a fixed-amount discount for one customer, used once.

When a customer redeems a reward, EarnKit creates a discount code just for them.
What a reward code is
- A fixed amount off, in your store’s currency, matching the reward the customer redeemed.
- Specific to that customer: nobody else can use it.
- Usable once.
- No expiration date: once issued, a code stays valid until it’s used.
- No minimum order amount required.
- Applies to every item in the order.
How it combines with other discounts
A reward code combines with order-level and product-level discounts, so a customer can use it alongside a sale or another promotion. It doesn’t combine with shipping discounts.
Good to know
- The code appears in your Shopify admin under Discounts, titled with the reward amount and currency, so you can find it if you need to.
- If a customer doesn’t have enough points, EarnKit refuses the redemption and no code is created.
