Customer birthdays

See a customer’s saved birthday and when their next birthday points are due.

If a customer has shared their birthday, you can see it on their profile, along with when their next birthday points are due.

Before you start

Birthday points need to be turned on in your program before customers can be awarded them. See Birthday points.

Where to find it

  1. Open the customer’s profile.
  2. Look for the Birthday card.

If the customer hasn’t provided a birthday, the card says Birthday not provided. If birthday rewards are off for your store, the card also offers a Turn on birthday rewards button.

What the card shows

For a customer who has saved a birthday, the card shows:

  • Saved birthday: the month and day only. EarnKit never stores or shows a birth year.
  • Enrolled: when the customer added their birthday.
  • Whether birthday rewards are currently on or off for your store.
  • Next eligible award: when this customer can next receive birthday points, shown in your store’s timezone.
  • Last awarded or Last skipped: the most recent outcome, with the date and, for an award, how many points were given.

Good to know

  • A customer provides their birthday themselves; you can’t enter or edit it for them.
  • Only the month and day are ever recorded.
