Find a customer

Find a customer in EarnKit and see their points balance, pending points and referrals.

The Customers page lists your Shopify customers alongside their EarnKit points and referral information. Customers do not need previous loyalty activity to appear.

Before you start

Customers need to exist in Shopify to appear here. If your list is empty, check that customers have been added in Shopify.

Finding a customer

  1. In EarnKit, go to Customers.
  2. Use the search field to search by name, email or Shopify customer ID.
  3. Select a row to open that customer’s profile.

You can also change how the list is sorted (Newest customers or Oldest customers) and how many rows show per page (25 or 50), using the buttons above the list.

What the list shows

Each row shows:

  • Customer and Email, where Shopify provides them
  • Points balance and Pending points
  • Completed referrals
  • A View in Shopify link to open the customer’s record in Shopify

Where Shopify gives EarnKit no name for a customer, the row falls back to their email address, and then to their Shopify customer reference. You can search by name, email address or Shopify customer ID either way, and matching customers appear in the results.

If no customers match your search, try a different name or email, or clear the search to see the full list.

Good to know

  • Selecting View in Shopify opens the customer’s record in your Shopify admin.
  • A customer with no name or email on file is shown by their Shopify customer reference.
